Mental Health Awareness Month 2025
A Reflection and a Call Forward

Reflect. Heal. Lead.
Dear Community,
As we step into June, we want to take a moment to pause and reflect on the impact of Mental Health Awareness Month this past May. Across conversations, classrooms, workplaces, and living rooms, one message came through loud and clear: mental health matters—every day, for everyone.
Throughout the month, we shared resources, held space for tough conversations, and honored stories of resilience, healing, and leadership. Whether you attended a local event, picked up a new book (like Bipolar General by Maj. Gen. Gregg Martin), or simply took a few minutes a day to breathe and check in with yourself—you were part of something meaningful.
Here’s What We’ve Learned:
Mental health isn’t just about crisis. It’s about daily habits, small decisions, and honest conversations that prioritize well-being and prevent burnout.
Healing isn’t linear. Some days are heavy, others are full of light. Both matter. Both deserve space.
Leadership and vulnerability go hand in hand. We saw it in the stories shared—how stepping back, asking for help, or speaking openly can be the boldest kind of strength.
Behavior is shaped by context. This month, we reflected on how environmental and systemic factors contribute to mental health. Diagnoses matter—but so do setting events, relationships, and cultural shifts. Behavior science reminds us that compassion must be proactive.
Well-being begins with rhythm. Many of us tried new routines—like 5 minutes of meditation, 10 minutes of reading, 10 minutes of writing, and 10 minutes of gratitude. Simple. Powerful. Grounding.
What’s Next?
Mental Health Awareness Month may be over, but the work—and the care—continues. We encourage you to:
✅ Check in with yourself and others
✅ Share your story, or hold space for someone else’s
✅ Seek resources and support when needed
✅ Lead with compassion—whether at work, at home, or in your community
We’re committed to building a culture that prioritizes psychological safety, authentic leadership, and whole-person wellness.
And we’re honored to be in it with you.
With gratitude,
