June Recap: Reflection, Celebration, and Leadership in Action
Honoring Growth, Equity, and Connection at Spectrum Speaks

Reflect. Celebrate. Lead.
Dear Spectrum Speaks FL Community,
June was more than just the halfway mark of 2025—it was a rich reminder of why we do what we do. This month, we are invited to reflect on freedom, family, healing, and our responsibilities to one another and the planet.
We acknowledged Juneteenth as a day of liberation and legacy, renewing our commitment to equity and justice in our leadership and coaching work.
World Environment Day (June 5) and World Oceans Day (June 8) reminded us how healing extends beyond humans—it’s about restoring balance with the world around us.
International Yoga Day (June 21) encouraged us to pause, breathe, and reconnect with our bodies and routines that nurture resilience.
National PTSD Awareness Month brought critical attention to trauma-informed care—a value embedded in everything we build and offer.
And on Father’s Day, we were proud to join the “Celebration of Women in Philanthropy and the Men Who Love Them”—a powerful gathering that highlighted love, partnership, and legacy across generations.
Leadership in Action
This month marked exciting professional milestones for Spectrum Speaks:
✅ Our very own Executive Director, Belle Stikeleather, completed 180+ hours of certified coaching education and is now a Certified Resilience & Executive Coach
✅ She also graduated from the Gulf Coast Leadership Institute, Cohort 2025, joining a network of leaders committed to inclusive, values-based change.
These achievements are more than certificates—they mark our expansion into organizational leadership development, values coaching, and mission-driven consulting.

Spotlight on Leadership
We’re proud to share that our Executive Director, Belle Stikeleather, has been invited as one of the featured speakers at “Rooted & Rising: A Youth Leadership Experience” on July 26th at the Shannon Staub Library in North Port, FL.
Hosted by a coalition of visionary leaders, this event empowers young people to rise with purpose while staying rooted in their identity and community. Belle will discuss how inner resilience and self-expression foster the confidence necessary to share your voice with the world, while addressing mental health stigma and promoting advocacy.
Join us in celebrating this meaningful opportunity to inspire the next generation of change-makers!
